I know that it has been a while...

Life is crazy, but full of so much fun and excitment. Ok, let me start with the wedding. I couldn't have asked for a better day or for anything else. My wedding began early in the morning with a trip to the hair dresser and then off to the temple because we were the first sealing of the day. We were so nervous and excited at the same time. I felt the excitement go through my body the minute I saw Travis inside the temple. We had a great sealing where we were surrounded by family and friends. When we walked out of the temple it was so comforting to see all of the people that I loved waiting for us to celebrate our marriage. After a lot of hugs and A LOT of picutres we quickly got some food and then we were off to Coral Canyon Clubhouse to decorate for the reception. I didn't get much sleep the night before, so I hurried and took a quick nap before we had MORE pictures and the reception. I have to thank a lot of people for helping me with my wedding. First, Marnie, my best friends in the whole world, and Jan, her mother who is like my second mom, they were absolutely amazing and gave me so much support and love. They decorated my wedding and it was truly amazing. I seriously couldn't believe how much time and effort that they put into my wedding. Not only did they decorate, but they were with me the entire day to help with my needs and made me truly feel like a princess on this special day. I also need to thank my family who were a lot of help and made my wedding day very special. I got to have both of my brothers there, my parents along with cousins, grandmas, aunts, and uncles. I am so lucky to have such great friends and family that they would travel down to St. George for my wedding. I also have wonderful in-laws who helped me every step of the way. They were always willing to help. We were lucky to have all of Trav's sisters there and their husbands. It made us feel truly loved!! I know that I have a lot more people to thank, but that is why we have thank you cards!! :) I am so happy and so in love and I am excited for our future together!! If you want to see a few pics from my wedding, just click on Tiffany D Photography under my favorites list. She has a few pictures up for you to enjoy!!

I only posted one picture, but there are more to come. This picture was taken by Tiffany D Photography.

Planning a wedding...

Planning a wedding is crazy, and I have found that family and friends are VERY important during this special time. I want to give you a quick update on what has been happening. I have been teaching summer school, planning a wedding, traveling to Ogden for numerous things, and moving out of my apartment. WOW!! Yes, on top of everything, I have to be out of my apartment by the end of this month which is Tuesday I believe. SCARY!! However, thanks to my amazingly loving fiance who has put up with my emotional roller coaster lately, I am certain that everything will get done. I want to thank everyone for their help and support in planning this wedding. Cozy, Jessie, and my soon to be Mother-In-Law (that is weird) thank you for all of your help and for always rushing down here for my every need!! You have been absolutely amazing and I really couldn't pull this wedding off without you. My friend Juanita took my engagement pics and they turned out fantastic!! I am so glad that I have talented friends. She did an excellent job and you will see her beautiful work on my invitations. She just started a business called Photos by Juanita and you can check it under my favorites. Thank you Juanita for taking our pictures and helping us out with our invitations!! My family and friends up north are busy with the decorations, this has been kind of tricky because they are up there and the wedding is here. I have definitely been sending a lot of pictures. :) I think that everything will come together and I can't wait for the BIG day!!

BRIDALS AND GROOMALS

Last night we got our bridals and groomals done!! I was a little bit nervous because I hate getting my picture taken, I'm not photogenic, and I just feel awkward. WELL, let me just tell you.... I have the BEST photographer ever!! Her name is Tiffany and her company is called
Tiffany D Photography. You can check her out under my favorites where I have a link to her blog. If you need pics taken for ANYTHING, I would HIGHLY recommend her because if she can put up with me and Travis for over 2 hours AND get AMAZING pictures, then she HAS to be good. She was so nice and it felt like we were all just hanging out and having a good time. It definitely took the pressure and the awkwardness out of the night and made everything go really well. I am so glad that she will be at the temple and at our reception with us because I know that she will do a fantastic job!! It was the perfect night and we had a lot of fun. I can't wait to see all of the pictures and share them with all of you at my wedding!! Thank you Tiffany for your help, your advice, and most of all for making last night absolutely fantastic!! I truly appreciate your time and your talent!! Thanks!!

We've set a date....

AUGUST 1st is the official day of our wedding.  We are getting married in the St. George Temple and then we will have a reception here that evening.  For those of you in Ogden, if you want to come, you are more than welcome to join us in St. George, but we won't be having anything in Ogden.  Sorry.  I am really excited and can't wait for the day to come.  The good news is that, it isn't that far away.  ha ha
